Man allegedly sedated & raped man who calls him 'uncle'

You read some stories and all you can say is,Lord have mercy...According to Nigerian Tribune, a Kaduna based successful business man named Alhaji Habu (pictured right in hospital after being stabbed) invited Kabiru (pictured left) to his home, where he proceeded to drug his tea and have sex with him. Kabiru claimed he was initially too weak to fight him off when Alhaji Habu penetrated
him but eventually managed to gain enough strength to get the man he called 'uncle' off him, using a knife.

Nigeria Tribune:

It is a sad story, a frightening betrayal of family trust. To many, it's something that defies logic, because no one has ever seen a male dog,
despite its high libido, doing such a thing with another male dog. For the fact a man was involved in it, and in a highly cosmopolitan city like Kaduna where all kinds of women abound
who could have served that purpose for a fee, or even for free depending on how persuasive one could be, many are now disturbed. The thinking in many quarters is that, perhaps, the
people of the biblical Sodom and Gomorrah are gradually reincarnating in the crocodile city.
For Hajiya Fati, it's a sad tale to tell, but considering the degree of betrayal, she was prepared to go to any length to seek justice ‎foя her son who was allegedly sedated, sodomised and blackmailed by a businessman who
hitherto was highly respected and revered by neighbors in the elitist Malali area of Kaduna metropolis.

Amid sobs, she prayed that such a thing would never happen again to any family, and hoped against hope that the dirty act would not be
revealed to her ailing husband, the father of her son, Kabiru, who is now coping with the sad and painful experience he suffered in the hands
of a close and trusted family friend – a man who had once played with him on his laps as a baby, but who would one day turn into a sex predator, forcefully gaining entry into his anal region after drugging him with a hot tea.
Narrating his ordeal, Kabiru, who appears to be in his early 30s, said he was invited by Alhaji Habu to his Malali house and was offered food
to eat. After the meal, he vomited because he was not feeling well.

According to him, his host offered him tea, which he drank and immediately, he fell asleep in the house, with
no one around. According to him, the tea, which he suspected was drugged, threw him into a state of illusion,
but he felt it when Alhaji Habu allegedly penetrated him.
"He was already inside me and I tried to free myself, but my body was weak because of the tea. I gained a little strength and tried to push him aside, but he said he would give me whatever I wanted if I could cooperate. I saw a knife and rushed for it but he held my hand and
slapped me, forcing me down. When I was able to grab the knife again, he held my hand, and in the struggle, I was wounded. I fought with the
knife to free myself, screaming for help. It was late at night and when I was able to push the door and escaped, I screamed and some people
came to help me. The police came from Malali Police Station and took us to the Garkuwa Hospital," he recounted.

Kabiru said he had never involved in such abnormal sexual act, and expressed sadness that a person he called 'uncle' could do such a
thing to him. Hajiya Fati insisted there was no homosexual relationship between her son and one Alhaji
Habu; but she maintained the suspect had been well known to the family since when Kabiru was a baby, and even married the sister of a close friend of hers."I was home sleeping, and around 2:00 a.m., the police came knocking. They said my son,Kabiru, had a fight with someone and that they were both in a hospital badly wounded. We rushed to the Garkuwa Hospital, and on sighting me, Kabiru said 'Mama, look at what Alhaji Habu did to me'. I was terrified and
dumbfounded because my son was in bad state, and something like water was dripping from his backside.
"Immediately, Alhaji Habu, who was bandaged due to knife cuts on his body, also said 'Hajiya, look at what Kabiru did to me.' He said my son
came to his house to use his guinea brocade (kaftan) for a wedding ceremony and decided to pass the night. He said that in the night, he felt
somebody stabbing him with a knife, and waseven calling Kabiru to come to his aid, not knowing that it was Kabiru that was stabbing
him. "I asked him why he didn't call me to inform me that Kabiru would be passing the night in his house. I said that even if Kabiru stayed late in his house, he should have asked him to
leave, since in such (an elitist) area, one could not get a taxi or commercial motorcyclists at late hours. But he said it was my son who came to his house, ate the food he had cooked and
vomited, drank tea afterward and decided to sleep in the house, not knowing that he came to rob him."
She said she could not tell Kabiru's father the sad story because he is old and very ill;expressing the fear that such a story might worsen his already bad situation.

"All I want is justice to take its course. My son cannot be blackmailed. He (Alhaji Habu) has
betrayed trust and I can never forget this sad incident. The religion of Islam is against this kind of thing; the heaven and the earth shake anytime this sin is committed. It is a very bad
thing. I must fight for my fundamental human rights," she said.
It was gathered that Habu's wife has since deserted the family home, having suspected that her husband was involved in an inappropriate relationship. At the hospital where Alhaji Habu was receiving treatment, he told reporters that Kabiru was in his house to rob him and succeeded in wounding him with a knife. The
reporters were, however, prevented from having a detailed interview with the suspect, based on 'orders from above'.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state police command, DSP Aminu Lawan, said he was aware of the incident but that investigations were still going on to unravel what actually took place during the encounter.

Baby's Eyes,Private Part Removed in Hospital

Angry youths of Abule Iroko in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, have vandalized an ambulance and an SUV at a medical centre in the area following the mutilation of a 13- month old boy, Obinna Ole.
P.M.NEWS gathered that trouble started when the parents of the child, Mr. and Mrs. Obinna Joseph Ole, wanted to take the corpse of their dead child home for burial on Sunday and discovered that the eyes, tongue, ears and his private part had been
removed.

The parents, P.M.NEWS learnt, raised an alarm which attracted other people around the area and the youths quickly mobilised themselves and stormed the hospital. They vandalized everything on sight. According to a police source, if not for the timely arrival of the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Sango Police Station, Supol Gabriel Dibie and a team of detectives from Sango, the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Babawale Funsho Joshua would have been lynched.

When P.M.NEWS visited the hospital
Monday, only police detectives were
around. Two vehicles parked in the
compound, an ambulance with registration number LND 850 AA and Honda Odyssey SUV marked FST 555 AU, were damaged by the rampaging youths, while glass windows in the building were smashed. Following the attack, the police from Sango moved in and arrested the Medical Director
of the hospital, Dr. Babawale Funsho Joshua and three others. Ogun State Police Command spokesman,
DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest, said the medical doctor was arrested alongside three others in connection with the incident.

Obinna Ole was on admission at the
hospital for an ailment before he eventually died. The story became astonishing when the father, Mr. Obinna Ole, went to claim the corpse of his late baby and discovered that the eyes, tongue, two lips, two ears,
joystick, nails and the left hand vein of
young Ole had been cut-off.
"Policemen attached to Ota Division, led by the DPO, CSP Gabriel Dibie, moved to the scene and arrested the suspects," Adejobi disclosed.
He confirmed that the corpse of the baby had been deposited at the Ifo General Hospital for autopsy.
Three others arrested with Dr. Joshua are Oguntunde Opeyemi, Olaide Adeyanju and Temitope Muraina.
Adejobi disclosed further that the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department at Eleweran to investigate the matter.
He assured the public that the police would unravel the truth of the matter.

Cruelty: Taliban fighters beheaded two children accused of 'spying'

A boy of ten and another aged 16 have been beheaded by the Taliban for 'spying'. The pair were seized while scavenging among rubbish bins near the police headquarters in Kandahar, Afghanistan's second city and a key
base for Western forces. They were accused of accepting food from the
police in exchange for information, provincial government officials said last night. Their heads were cut off following interrogation, it is claimed.

Their bodies were recovered in Kandahar's Zhari district. It was said that, the two boys were beheaded as a warning to villagers not to cooperate with the Afghan government. The officials said the boys had simply been
going through bins to find food that had been thrown away by Western forces. The ten-year-old boy was very poor and was known to take food going spare from the police to give to his family, the officials added.

Dr Toryalay Wessa, who is Kandahar's governor, instructed the security forces and police to hunt down and catch the militants responsible for the killing 'with whatever casualties it takes and at whatever price'. Jamal Agha, the chief of Zhari district, said: 'The
boys were on their way back when they were stopped by Taliban insurgents who beheaded them.
'Both of them were innocent children and had nothing to do with government or foreigners.'

Taliban spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi denied the allegations, insisting the group had not beheaded any children in the area. In 2012, the
extremists were accused of – and denied –beheading a 12-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl in south and east Afghanistan. Taliban fighters have been known to behead their enemies but have always denied carrying out such attacks on children.

Origins: Kandahar is the birthplace of the Taliban and one of Afghanistan's most restive provinces. Officials believe the Taliban executed the boys
as a warning to other youngsters not to co-operate with the Coalition forces. The news of the beheadings drew a strong response on social media, with thousands of expressions of outrage on Twitter.

Last July, in the same area, a 16-year-old boy accused by the Taliban of spying for the government was beheaded and skinned. The next month, a girl aged seven and a boy of
12 were kidnapped and beheaded in separate incidents. News of the latest beheadings follows fierce gun battles near the airport in Kabul, the Afghan capital. Seven Taliban fighters armed
with guns and explosives clashed with security forces and were all killed.

The Taliban said the attack was intended to target Americans in Kabul International Airport, one part of which is used by military forces and another by civilians, the officials
said. In eastern Afghanistan, a service member with Nato's International Security Assistance Force died in a bombing yesterday, the latest in a
string of coalition deaths.

My Husband is in love with another woman

A while ago, I discovered my husband was having an affair. It wasn't a short term roll in the hay it was more of a relationship with another Lady.
Well to cut the long story short after all the trouble, the separation the quarrels and the tears and begging for forgiveness,we decided to give it another shot. We moved on with our lives, until last week when I tried to use his phone and found a suspicious received call. Then I discovered he
was still in contact with her. now this lady has moved on, she's married now and has a child and is fearful for her own marriage cos I did threaten her about telling her husband what
she was up to, so I'd doubt she will try. So I asked him, dude what is all this about? From our discussion, I realized that their relationship wasn't just intimate that he loved her and now, he has a hard time letting go of
her.
It is tough for me you know. I told him if he loves her, he can go to her and I'll be fine but he said he doesn't and I know he's lying. I know he loves her cos I could tell he was pained when he
realized she was getting married.
It's all really depressing right now. should I give him space to get over it cos he keeps calling her just to talk to her. Honestly right now, I'm tired,
I'm about to give up.

Hezbollah terrorist cell: Lebanese suspects sue SSS, AGF for N50 billion compensation

A twist in the Hezbolla terror cell case where co-owner of Amigo Supermarket, Mustapha Fawaz, and three Lebanese – Abdalah Tahini,
Talal Rouda and Khosai Nouridine were arrested in connection with the armoury in Bompai, Kano State, a law suit has been filed before the Federal High Court, Abuja.

[READ: How the JTF uncovered Lebanese terrorist cell in Nigeria]
The accused are said to be demanding N50bn as compensation from the State Security Service,Director-General of SSS, Ekpeyong Ita, and the
Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN),for their unlawful arrest and detention without trial.
According to reports, their lawyer, Bamidele Aturu, in a June 3 letter to the SSS Director-General, had complained that his clients had
been in detention without trial in violation of the constitution and are also requesting a public apology by the respondents in three national newspapers for the violation of their
rights.

In more requests, the suspects, Fawaz, Tahini, who were arrested in Kano on May 10 and 11 respectively also asked the court to stop the respondents from extraditing them except by a
procedure permitted by law. Rouda and Nouridine were arrested on or about May 28 in Kano.

The Punch reports:
In the application for the enforcement of their fundamental rights, the applicants asked the court to declare their arrest and continued detention without trial by the SSS as "illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional, null,
void and of no effect whatsoever."
They prayed the court for an order directing their release and a perpetual injunction restraining the respondents whether by themselves or their agents from arresting or detaining them except by a procedure permitted by law. The motion is in pursuant to Sections 35 and 36 of the 1999 Constitution, Articles 6 and 7 of the African Charter on Human and
Peoples Rights (Ratification and
Enforcement) Act.
A few days after the arrest of the suspects in Kano, the SSS sealed Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Amusement Park. But the applicants have asked the court to declare that the action "was arbitrary and a
wanton violation of the right of Fawaz to own property and participate in the minor sector of the economy as guaranteed respectively by Sections 44 and 16(1) of the 1999 Constitution and African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights". They, therefore, sought an order directing the respondents and their agents and
servants to unseal the Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Amusement Park forthwith.
He also asked that they needed to access to lawyers, members of their families and doctors within 48 hours "in accordance with their rights under both Nigerian and international law".
In an affidavit in support of the suit, Ali Thini, who is a younger brother to Tahini stated that the SSS had ignored the letter.
